Smackdown Live Ratings Released, Did Jinder as Champ Help?

This week’s edition of WWE SmackDown LIVE drew a total of 2.328 million viewers, which is an increase from last week’s 2.175 million viewers.

The episode reached #8 in overall viewership, as well as #3 in the 18-49 demographic, failing to topple the NBA Playoffs.

This week’s broadcast featured all of the fallout from the SmackDown LIVE-exclusive WWE Backlash event, in which Jinder Mahal defeated Randy Orton to become the brand new WWE Champion. This week’s main event also featured AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura teaming up to face the tandem of Dolph Ziggler and United States Champion Kevin Owens.
