WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is set to return to WWE in the next few weeks for a WrestleMania 32 angle, according to a number of insider source.
It is believed Foley won’t be returning on Monday’s Raw from Chicago, but is reportedly booked for the March 14th Raw from Pittsburgh. Foley could also make further appearances on the subsequent episodes on March 21st and March 28th from Philadelphia and Brooklyn respectively.
Which feud he will be a part of isn’t known as of yet, although he joins a number of other big names for the event such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, The Rock and Ric Flair.
Former WWE, ECW and TNA Star Rhyno announced this week that he has filed to run as State Representative for his district in Dearborn, Michigan. He spoke to FOX Sports about his campaign and revealed Vince McMahon’s reaction to the news that he is entering politics:
“I told Vince, ‘I hope I make you proud.’ He said, ‘You already have.’ He then followed up by saying if there was anything (WWE) can do to help to let them know,” Rhyno told FOX Sports. “He didn’t ask what party I was running for or this and that. The McMahons’ love for their country is just contagious.”
He also said he doesn’t think his past as pro-wrestler will hurt his chances:
“I don’t think it will hurt me at all. I think candidates that run against me will try to make fun of it to discredit me so they can win the election, which is understandable. But I want to go out and discuss how we can make this state better, how we can make people’s lives easier and educate the kids.”
