Kevin Owens is set to defend his Intercontinental Title against AJ Styles at WWE’s Madison Square Garden show on Match 25th. The will be the first time they meet inside a WWE ring on what will be a special “Daniel Bryan Night.”

Below is the updated card for 3/25:

– Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Triple H and Sheamus

Intercontinental title match
– Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles

United States title match
– Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio

– Big Show vs. Bray Wyat

Other names scheduled for the show include Ric Flair, The New Day, Kane, The Dudley Boyz, The Usos, Rusev, Ryback, The Miz and The Wyatt Family.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon apparently wants the upcoming WrestleMania 32 event to be the start of “several years” of Roman Reigns in the company’s top spot that was formerly held by John Cena.

According to the report, “the plan is for Reigns to go over and be the top babyface in the company for years to come.”

The overall attitude within WWE is that it doesn’t really make a difference if the fans boo Reigns because, as is evident with Cena, cheers and boos aren’t damaging to the babyface of a franchise such as WWE, and diverse reactions from fans can often be seen as a good thing since they can launch stars to bigger levels of business. However, it’s also well known that Reigns is not as big of a star as Cena, even though his merchandise numbers are good.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
