WWE Signs Major NJPW Star and What WWE Hall of Famer is in a Nursing Home?

WWE has announced via WWE.com that Shinsuke Nakamura has officially signed with NXT. The announcement of Nakamura’s signing was also made during a press conference in his home country of Japan.

Triple H, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events, and Creative, had the following to say about Nakamura signing with NXT:

“Talent is the lifeblood of our company, and the signing of Shinsuke Nakamura further demonstrates NXT’s commitment to bringing in the best talent from all over the world. His explosive style will make an immediate impact to an already dynamic NXT men’s division.”

As previously announced, Nakamura is scheduled to face Sami Zayn at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Dallas event on April 1st in Dallas, Texas.

WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race Now Living in Retirement Home

A recent profile by STLToday.com, which can be checked out by clicking here, has revealed that WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race is currently living at the Delmar Gardens Retirement Home in St. Louis, Missouri, all while continuing to help his son, Leland, run both Race’s professional wrestling promotion and training school. The profile notes that Race currently uses a motorized wheelchair to get around these days due to having hip and knee replacements, multiple abdominal surgeries, five vertebrae fused together, and a metal rod inserted into his forearm over the past number of years.
