Lesnar on Smackdown, Styles Talks WWE and Update on WWE Shows



WWE reportedly has Brock Lesnar working more SmackDown dates in order to strengthen the shows appeal now that it’s on the USA Network, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Lensar will work the February 16th SmackDown tapings in Ontario, California and March 22nd SmackDown tapings in Boston.

AJ Styles was recently interviewed by Ryan Carse of The Tag Rope during the 5 Star Wrestling tour in the United Kingdom in which he discussed missing out on his chance to join WCW before it closed in 2001 and WWE not signing him.

“It was a little depressing, not only that [WCW] went out of business, but the fact that WWE did not pick me up. But in retrospect, it was the best thing that ever happened to me because I wasn’t ready to be in WCW and I wasn’t ready to be in WWF at the time. It was great getting back onto those indies and really learning. I learned so much going to Ring of Honor, it was a big learning curve for me at the beginning because everything was different, things were done different in the North East than they were in the South East. But it was a great thing that happened to me, it was the best thing that could’ve happened.”


WWE’s Total Divas returned to strong ratings on E! with 1.115 million viewers for the premiere episode of the fifth season,

The viewership was up 14% from the season 4 premiere. Thranked show on cable for the night of January 19th, 2016.

The show was ranked #9 on cable for the night of January 19th, 2016.

The new WWE Network series “WWE Ride Along” will officially debut immediately following next Monday’s edition of Raw.

The show will focus on various WWE Superstars and Divas traveling on the road together.
