Conor McGregor (15-2) Is Looking To Take The UFC By Storm

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has been cast in the new XXX movie alongside Vin Diesel.

Conor McGregor’s movie career is officially ON — ’cause we’re told the UFC’s 13 second knockout king has agreed to a role in the new ‘xXx’ movie.

The Irish superstar has said that Hollywood has been knocking on his door for a while — and Vin Diesel is a huge fan when it comes to putting fighters in his flicks (like Ronda Rousey in “Furious 7”).

In fact, Diesel posted on Instagram Monday suggesting Conor was on board for “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.”
Now, our sources connected to the situation tell us … Conor HAS verbally agreed to play a role in the flick — though it’s unclear how big of a part it will be.

Of course, things happen in Hollywood and Conor could always pull out — but for now, we’re told it’s a go.

As most know Conor recently won the biggest fight of his MMA career over the weekend by soundly defeating longtime UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo via walk-off one punch knockout in only 13 seconds. The bout crowned Conor as the undisputed champion as he had won an interim title from defeating Chad “Money” Mendes in a few months prior.

However movies aren’t the only thing on McGregor’s plate as of now, former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar believes he has the skill set to derail Conor. Conor has also issued a challenge to whoever walks away this weekend the victor in the UFC Lightweight bout between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Rafael Dos Anjos.

Movies and former or current UFC Champions seem to be on the horizon for the Notorious one.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
