Currently signed to the UFC, Phillip Brooks aka CM Punk took to his Twitter account to bash the Susan G Komen Cancer Research foundation. Punk then took to arguing with people that disagree with the former WWE champion. Things got even more intense when former WWE Tough Enough winner Maven started to engage with Punk.

As previously reported, WWE has announced that they will again be teaming with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help raise money to fight and find a cure for breast cancer.

Former WWE Superstar and current UFC fighter CM Punk, however, has taken to his official Twitter page to bash the breast cancer foundation and claim that the organization is a “scam.”

Since the beef with Maven ended, Punk blocked the former WWE star from his Twitter account. Maven hasn’t been in the WWE in over a decade and even retired from wrestling as a whole for awhile in 2007, then he recently returned to the independent circuit earlier this year. Punk as reported is now in the UFC but has yet to officially compete, he was scheduled for late this year but injured himself in training so the time line has been extended all the way past next year.

CM punk retired from professional wrestling almost two years ago and in his last angle he was taking on the current number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Kane. Punk seemingly grew tired of not being in the main event of Wrestlemania despite consistently having a large following and putting on incredible matches/performances and making rivalries deeper along with easily having the best promo skills in the industry minus maybe Paul Heyman.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
