Mick Foley posted the following on his Facebook page lobbying for Dolph Ziggler and John Cena.

He wrote:

Properly executed, a Dolph Ziggler/John Cena feud could be HUGE! The MOMENT I saw the teaser for the ‪#‎TotalDivas‬ finale – with Dolph, the very real-life former boyfriend of Nicki Bella, telling his former flame he could be a husband and a father – I literally yelled “THAT’S THE ANGLE! THIS IS WHAT ZIGGLER NEEDS!” into my living room. There’s no doubt in my mind that a vicious (as opposed to cool) Ziggler with Nicki Bella by his side could be THE man in ‪#‎WWE‬. Tell me what you think. Will this dream scenario see the light of day?

Dolph and Cena had a rivalry long ago that centered around current wife to CM Punk, AJ Lee. AJ was “dating” John Cena on screen but betrayed him in a ladder match for Dolph’s money in the bank briefcase at TLC 2012. This wasn’t a major feud so if the WWE chooses to utilize its’ reality television show and create another angle this could be the route to choose.

At Friday night’s WWE NXT live event in Nashville, Tennessee, it appears that Carmella suffered a stinger while competing in a match against Eva Marie.

According to fan reports, the botch reportedly took place after Carmella took a bump to the back of her head after being hit by one of Eva’s knees. Eva quickly got the pinfall victory and the match was then stopped. The referee threw up the “X” and motioned to the back of his own head and trainers, including Dr. Chris Amann, quickly came to the ring to tend to Carmella. Carmella was crying, but was assisted out of the ring and appeared to not be too badly hurt.

Eva, in the meantime, was met with fan chants of “please retire.”

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
