Notes:
As reported earlier the fight between Tyron Woodley and Johny Hendricks has been called off due to Hendricks’s lack of ability to make the 170 pounds contractually agreed upon. The bout was for the UFC Welterweight Championship but now the UFC has reported that Woodley will receive the next opportunity at the 170 pound gold. Dana White stated that to him “Hendricks is now officially a Middleweight.”
In a Heavyweight attraction both Jordan and Magomedov seemed very jovial and Shawn cracked a number of jokes while he was on stage making Joe Rogan, Dana White and even Magomedov laugh.
The same can’t be said for Ryan Bader and Rashad Evans as these two immediately got in each others’ faces and trash talked right off the bat. The pair continued to exchange heated words until UFC president Dana White had to separate the two. Both had said discouraging things to one another leading into their fight. Bader made fun of Rashad’s weight and Rashad returned fire stating he didn’t think Bader had a record worthy of a UFC title opportunity.
Only one fighter didn’t make weight for UFC 192 and that was Francisco Trevino who was 4 pounds over the UFC Lightweight limit for his contest against newcomer Sage Northcutt. Trevino will now forfeit 20% of what he was scheduled to make.
