*SPOILERS* WWE Smackdown 7/2/2015

The following contains SPOILERS of what will air on this week’s edition of WWE Thursday Night SmackDown.

1. “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt defeated “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose. No reported interference or possible teasing of interference from Wyatt’s opponent at Battleground, Roman Reigns. Perhaps this was a clean win? Why is Dean always in a major push angle but always seems to lose, or at least in high profile singles competition?

2. R-Truth defeated Adam Rose. Classic low mid card attraction here. Rose is going through a minor kind of sorta heel change? I think. R-Truth is R-Truth, no significance of any kind here I’m sure. Maybe a helping of “whatsup” for the youngsters who visited the event.

3. Intercontinental Champion Ryback defeated “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. Another surprising read result that doesn’t feature any run-ins or interference from future opposition at the WWE Battleground pay-per-view. Ryback will defend his WWE Intercontinental strap against the likes of former champions The Miz and The Big Show. Both of which have all gotten involved in each others matches in recent weeks en route to their triple threat match at Battleground.

4. Brie Bella defeated Naomi. Another short very vague match, nothing reported on if Brie won clean or if there was Twin Magic with her sister Nikki Bella involved. My only wish is for that move to never be utilized again, it has run its’ course and it ruins any opportunity the Divas division has at being somewhat relevant again.

5. WWE Tag Team Champions Darren Young & Titus O’Neil: The Prime Time Players defeated Konnor & Viktor: The Ascension. The current champions continue their winning ways and so does Darren Young. Darren Young came out just over a year ago as the only openly gay WWE superstar currently on the roster. This past weekend the U.S. supreme court passed a bill to legalize gay marriage and I’m sure the news was music to Young’s ears.

6. Roman Reigns defeated “The Architect” Seth Rollins by disqualification after outside interference from Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury: J&J Security. The Authority is seemingly stronger than ever now that Seth Rollins publicly apologized and has bought plenty of gifts for Kane and J&J Security. Where was Bray Wyatt during all this, is a good question to ask.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
