The WWE has unveiled the full match card for their upcoming event on July 4th in Tokyo. This is a very strange listing of matches but none the less will be extremely entertaining to watch with many variables to be discussed. This event will be free on the WWE network which can be purchased for the low price of $9.99.

– Lucha Dragons vs. Los Matadores- Opening contest of the night and it seems the Dragons will be put over here. Los Matadores have not seen anything close to a significant push since they came together and the Dragons are always on the cusp of the Tag Title picture. Also the Dragons are big crowd favorites.
– Nikki Bella vs. Paige vs. Naomi for the Divas Title. Paige has been getting buried over and over by the Bella twins. Maybe they used “Twin Magic” for the millionth time only Naomi would be the victim this time. I see Paige winning big at Summerslam.
– New Day vs. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro for Tag Team Titles (Tyson Kidd is injured, likely will change) The change will likely be the Prime Time Players since they actually have the Title Belts. A rematch from Money in the Bank with more than likely the same result.
– Chris Jericho vs. Neville. This match has show stealer written all over it. Their will be spots all over and both know how to put on an extremely crowd pleasing show. A match like this will give the card a more of a Pay-Per-View quality feel for those tuning in via the WWE Network.
– Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor for NXT Title. Speaking of Pay-Per-View quality affairs and show stealers. I expect (Like I do with Jericho) since Balor made such a huge impact when he wrestled for the Bullet Club under the name of Prince Devitt in Japan, that he will be very over with the crowd. This is perfect for Owens to push his heel persona even further. I expect Owens to drop the NXT title to Balor here and no longer be on NXT programming.
– Brock Lesnar vs. Kofi Kingston. This match blows my mind. In a very good way. Kofi will be tossed around like a rag doll but it’ll be highly entertaining how The New Day will get involved to help their member. This event will come before Battleground so Seth Rollins could come out at some time to get involved and possible cost Lesnar the match.
– John Cena & Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane & King Barrett. Another slightly weird pairing, with two faces against two weirdly partnered heels. However I imagine all four competitors will put on a great match for the crowd in Japan.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
