Stone Cold Steve Austin and Paul Heyman created a lot of speculation and buzz regarding a possible match between Austin and the client of Heyman’s, The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. Twitter blew up because when asked about the match, Austin entered into “promo mode” which most took as him trying to sell the match (as if the match doesn’t sell itself.)
However after all was said and done a week later Steve Austin had another podcast to address the matter. Translated by Ben Kerin:
During the latest edition of his podcast, Steve Austin addressed speculation that he has been attempting to build up to a WrestleMania match with Brock Lesnar after he gave a promo at the end of his podcast last week with Paul Heyman on the WWE Network.
Austin noted that he had no idea what Heyman was going say and went into promo mode because it was the right thing to do for the Steve Austin character.
He said he didn’t mean to spin a match or sell a match for his fans. He added he and Lesnar will be doing different things going forward.
WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion as Diesel, Kevin Nash and member of The Kliq is no fan of NXT Champion Kevin Owens and even blocked him on Twitter during Monday’s Raw.
“Kevin Owens. Two questions guys want to be him? Ladies want to be with him? Twitter world vote”
To which The Wrestling Observers Dave Meltzer responded: “@RealKevinNash Still stuck in 1992? Too bad, real world in 2015 more open minded about how they’ll spend $ to see.”
Kevin Owens then tried to respond but found out he was blocked: “If @RealKevinNash hadn’t blocked me, I’d totally answer his questions.”
Nash then posted: “I rather enjoy his work. Good segment tonight.”
Kind of weird, but weird is what works for the tag team of Luke Harper and Eric Rowan, but after Raw this passed Monday in New Orleans they seemingly stole a well known legendary tag team’s finishing maneuver.
