WWE Smackdown Spoilers, Extreme Rules Main Event Revealed

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and the other members of the Authority opened the show on Tuesday night. Randy Orton came out to interrupt their promo, which led to Orton vs. The Big Show. Randy Orton would win the match via disqualification. I smell something cooking for WWE’s next pay-per-view Extreme Rules.

Naomi defeated Natalya Neidhart. Seemingly a meaningless divas match to pass the time.

The Director of Operations Kane then created a match between Seth Rollins and Randy Orton at Extreme Rules for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Ahh i knew something was up in the air, don’t be fooled, this has potential to out due their awesome Wrestlemania match

Then a Roman Reigns interview was shown on the Titan-Tron. He mentioned that he has defeated Rollins in the past and can do it again. If he will return before WWE Extreme Rules wasn’t noted.

The Miz beat R-Truth. After the match, Damien Mizdow came down and gave Miz a Skull-Crushing Finale. This was obviously a payback gesture from what The Miz did to Mizdow on Raw. Maybe a sort of extreme rules match with actual extreme rules is in order to settle the score of former WWE Tag Team Champions?

The United States Champion John Cena came out and said he will issue an open challenge for the U.S. Title every week (Like a true defending champion). Rusev then came out (minus Lana once more…sigh) and confronted Cena but things did not turn physical. The segment ended with the American flag dropping instead of Rusev’s Russian flag. Another potential bout at Extreme Rules seems to be brewing early.

Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper ended in either a no-contest or a disqualification win for Ambrose. Harper powerbombed him through the commentators table and no winner was officially announced. This is interesting as Harper and Ambrose seem to be on the outs for potential rivalries so pairing the two very athletic competitors may prove to be a good move.

Sheamus beat Daniel Bryan in the main event by a count-out. Sheamus’s new heel look is refreshingly dark and he’s winning matches, it almost seems like we haven’t seen these two tango for the upteenth time.

The dark match main event saw Roman Reigns and John Cena defeat Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt. So Roman and Wyatt are off Raw and Smackdown but compete in the dark match? Ok…

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
