One FC 25: Age of Champions Preview

One Fighting Championship’s 25th event will feature the first title defense of One FC flyweight world champion Adriano Moraes as he faces “Riku Shibuya.” Here’s a look at the fighters competing on Friday night at One FC 25: Age of Champions.

Adriano “Black Diamond” Moraes (12-1-0) last appeared in September when he submitted Geje Eustaquio with a second-round guillotine choke and claimed flyweight gold at One Championship 20. He is a fast flyweight with excellent ground game sensibility and footwork. Going 3-1 in One FC, all 3 of his consecutive victories have come by submission. Apart from 2 draws, his opponent Asuka Mikami has won his last 10 fights. Mikami is heading into One FC 25 with a unanimous decision victory over Takeshi Hara in October under Japan’s Heat Banner. This will be Mikami’s first fight outside of his native country of Japan.

After his loss in One FC 11, Peter Davis (9-3-0) has rebounded to finish 3 consecutive fights in the promotion. Davis is coming off of a TKO victory over Vaughn Donayre is heading into One FC 25: Age of Champions. While he will be looking to add another KO victory to his record, he has to get past the super fight league product Rajinder Singh Meena, who has finished his opponents in all 8 of his professional victories.
