Mark Munoz has been booked for the UFC’s debut event in the Philippines less than two weeks after his UFC 184 bout. He faces TUF winner Luke Barnatt in what Munoz has announced will be his retirement bout in the UFC.

Mark Munoz has been a part of the UFC since his debut in 2010. Some of his greatest accomplishments in the promotion include a fight of the night KO finish of Kendall Grove and a TKO victory over Chris Leben in the first 5-round non-title fight in UFC history. Mark Munoz (13-6) is 1-4 in his last 5 fights in the UFC, losing 3 straight first round finishes to Lyoto Machida, Gegard Mousasi, and Roan Carneiro at UFC 184.

Luke Barnatt (8-2) has also had a rough go of things lately, taking 2 consecutive split decision losses to Sean Strickland and Roger Narvaez in 2014. He will be facing Munoz with the support of his Filipino fanbase in the UFC’s exciting debut in Manila. “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” will get the opportunity to hit a walk off home run surrounded by supporters. However, Luke “Bigslow” Barnatt needs a big win to get back on good standing with the UFC after two consecutive losses. Who do you think will come out on top between the middleweights in the UFC’s debut event in the Phillipines?
