Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan kicks off SmackDown with an in-ring promo. He talks about WrestleMania 31 but is interrupted by WWE Intercontinental Champion, Bad News Barrett, who insults Bryan and Dean Ambrose. Ambrose comes out and they brawl. Bryan picks up the IC Title belt and handed it to Barrett but just to distract him. Ambrose and Bryan double teamed Barrett. Barrett dropped the title and ran off, leaving Ambrose and Bryan to celebrate with the title. This will be a major disappointment in my mind if the WWE decides to demote Bryan into the Intercontinental Title picture.

Dean Ambrose defeated The Miz. However Barrett came in through the crowd to get his title back. I wonder if a stipulation will be added to what seems to be a match between the two at Wrestlemania 31. Even though on Raw it looked as though a Fatal Fourway between these two, Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth would happen.

Natalya defeated Naomi. Tyson Kidd, Cesaro and The Usos were at ringside and fought. Another rivalry with an apparent match at Wrestlemania continues to progress.

Lana and WWE United States Champion, Rusev came out for a promo to mock John Cena. Jack Swagger interrupted but Rusev ended up beating him down. Rusev put Swagger in The Accolade as the Russian flag dropped over the ring. This showed the growth of Rusev in the industry as his biggest adversary when he first joined the main roster was Swagger, now he’s just cannon fodder for the Russian brute.

Daniel Bryan vs. Bad News Barrett is next. R-Truth was on commentary and ended up stealing Barrett’s title belt. Bryan got the win with a running knee. After the match, Barrett looked around for his title but had no idea what happened to it. R-Truth finds Ambrose backstage and gives him the IC Title belt. This twist, while an innovative one, doesn’t appear as though Bryan will be involved with the IC title mix, but R-Truth definitely is.

Fandango defeated Curtis Axel. Axel now has a clock that shows how long he’s been in the Royal Rumble. I guess this gimmick is the only way to keep Axel relevant..

Bray Wyatt cut another mysterious promo on The Undertaker. Maybe one of the top promo cutters in the industry today continues to sell his match with the Undertaker, with no help from the Undertaker.

Goldust defeated Adam Rose. Stardust was dressed as one of the Rosebuds and attacked Goldust. Mark my words, this match-up at Wrestlemania 31 might steal the show. Forget about the Fastlane debacle.

Ryback, Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler defeated Kane, Big Show and WWE’s “Mr. Money in the Bank” Seth Rollins when Ryback hit his finisher on Rollins and pinned him. Ryback got the biggest pop of the match. Ryback’s popularity is ever growing but hopefully this ends the alliance with these three authority rebels and they can go about their way in more singles competitions.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
