This time of the WWE calendar is always fun to speculate about and attempt to predict. Legends return in surprising fashion and most do during the Royal Rumble 30 man over-the-top-rope battle royale match.

Bo-Dallas
(Bo Dallas on WWE Raw)

This year appears to be no different. The first superstar surprise return is going to reportedly be Bo Dallas as per WWE.com. The former NXT Champion hasn’t wrestled since November, but will be put in the Royal Rumble match. What’s interesting is his real life brother Bray Wyatt will also be in the match and the WWE Universe could see the two tangle for the first time.

However, a lasting feud probably won’t happen because Wyatt is slated to be The Undertaker’s opponent at Wrestlemania 31. Bo didn’t have any substantial feuds prior to his injury, briefly challenging Mark Henry in a couple of matches and beating him on several occasions. Bo saw most of his success in NXT where he was champion for a long period of time. He finally lost his title to current NXT Heavyweight Champion, Adriene Neville at the NXT Arrival event in a ladder match that aired on the WWE Network.

The next superstar rumored to return at the Royal Rumble is strictly rumored, but highly likely to appear. The rumors circulate around the possibility of the competitor being inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2015.

Diamond Dallas Page has been getting a strong push to make a run in the Royal Rumble match. Many want to see him inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame not just based on his in-ring performances, but his work with other wrestlers with his patented DDP yoga as well.

He has revitalized the likes of Jake “The Snake” Roberts, “The Bad Guy” and former NWO member Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon. DDP didn’t see nearly as much success in the WWE like he did in WCW. He did win the WWE European Title at one point and mainly personified a motivational speaker in many of his matches almost like that of Bo Dallas. Instead of “All You Have to do is Bo-Lieve.” DDP would state “That’s Not a Bad Thing, That’s a Good Thing.” In WCW, DDP was one of the promotion’s top attractions, winning the WCW heavyweight title on numerous occasions. He joined the WWE in the beginning of the Invasion storyline and began a feud with the Undertaker.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
