The following are results from tonight’s taping in Laredo, Texas based on some reports from wrestlezone.com

WWE SmackDown starts off with an in-ring promo from Seth Rollins and J&J Security. Roman Reigns interrupts and ends up clearing the ring. This prompts The Big Show to come out. Big Show and The Authority vs. Reigns is announced for tonight and Reigns must find a tag team partner.

1. Big E is chosen from “The New Day” and defeats Adam Rose to start the in-ring contests off.

2.  The Ascension come out and cut a promo. They beat two local jobbers, similar to what happened on WWE Raw. An obvious build up for the Ascension is brewing, it seems like something special is in store for them at WrestleMania 31.

3. Alicia Fox defeated Naomi. She cheats by putting her foot on the rope to get the win. Fox is rising atop the women ranks.

4. The Usos defeated Gold and Stardust and The Miz and Damien Mizdow in a Triple Threat Tag Team Championship match. The Usos got the win and Goldust took the loss. The last three tag champions danced, but the Ascension will obviously be added to the fray soon before long. The Ascension already have dismantled The Miz and Damien Mizdow and the sights on the WWE Tag Titles are on lock.

5. Sin Cara defeated Bad News Barrett in a non-title match. Barrett gets enraged and hits a Bull hammer on Cara after the match. This is more than a surprise as Barrett recently defeated former WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler on Raw. He needed help from the Authority after losing at first, but after a 2-out-of-3 falls match was issued he cashed in and took advantage to win the match and the belt. It looked as though Barrett would receive a monster push to keep the IC title relevant like Ziggler had in mind. However a loss here to Sin Cara seems like the need to put Bad News Barrett over more as a heel is in store.

6. Seth Rollins and Big Show vs. Roman Reigns and a partner is the main event. After a short time of nobody coming out to help Reigns, Dean Ambrose’s music hits. Following a good match, Reigns wins with the Spear. Mixing up teams for matches to provide for main events has been a standard lately, but the WWE still provides quality ends to their shows. Reigns is still a threat and Rollins still has 2 upcoming shots at the WWE Title.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
