WWE Super Smackdown 800th Episode Results:

1. Roman Reigns defeated Fandango. Reigns pinned Fandango rather quickly in what was basically a squash match to welcome the former leader of the Shield back to action. After a Superman punch and a spear, Reigns put the dancer away.

– Dean Ambrose did a promo on Bray Wyatt promoting their upcoming (on tape) bootcamp match at Tribute to the Troops which will air tonight.

2. Erick Rowan and The Usos defeated Luke Harper, The Miz and Damien Mizdow in a slightly entertaining match which saw more antics from Mizdow.

– Seth Rollins vs. Ryback didn’t happen. Rusev jumped on Ryback during his entrance and superkicked him off of the stage. This set up what will undoubtedly be the next opponent for Rusev in coming events. Another interesting tidbit is that there are rumors circulating that Rusev and Lana have plans to bring back the WWE European title to replace Rusev’s current U.S. Title. The action left Rollins without an opponent, who cited that he deserved a night off after a tables match on Sunday and a Cage match on Monday. Dolph Ziggler interrupted, setting up a match between the two for later in the night.

3. Divas Championship Match: Nikki Bella (c) defeated Naomi. The Miz granted Naomi the opportunity to challenge for the Divas belt and came down to the ring to cheer on Naomi during the match. Jimmy Uso ran out and chased him off, which distracted Naomi and allowed Nikki to roll her up for the win. This rivalry is getting kind of weird, with Miz putting over Mizdow’s personality and now getting involved with Jimmy and Naomi’s relationship malfunctions. This could possibly break up two tag teams and send 4 competitors into singles competition.

4. Kane defeated Adam Rose. Kane won in another squash match (which he should) with a choke-slam. After the match, Kane once again tomb-stoned The Bunny. The Bunny’s push has apparently been derailed for the time being to give legitimacy back to Kane’s destructive character which has lost too many matches lately.

5. Dolph Ziggler defeated Seth Rollins. J&J Security were at ringside for the highly entertaining match. This match had many high spots and the crowd was involved throughout. In the end, Jamie Noble tried to interfere but the referee saw it, causing J&J to get thrown out. This distracted Rollins, and Ziggler was able to hit a Zig Zag for a pinfall victory. This match was stellar and showcased the changing of the guard in the WWE, both of these guys deserve main event matches and hopefully they will take the top spot for years to come.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
