Bellator 131 will reach international audiences, airing on Sunday November 16th on Viacom’s 5* network. This will mark the first time ever that Bellator will air on the popular British broadcast network. 5 Star (written 5*) is a broad and dynamic entertainment channel home to a mix of big budget films, drama, and vibrant factual content. While Bellator has only hosted events across the United States, it will be interesting to see if a good UK reception could mean a future Bellator across the pond.

“We are very pleased to have one of the UK’s most popular free-to-air networks airing one of the biggest fights of the year,” Bellator President Scott Coker said. “With Tito Ortiz, Stephan Bonnar, Michael Chandler, Will Brooks, King Mo and Melvin Manhoef all featured on this card, our friends in the UK are in for an unforgettable, action-packed night. We look forward to making Bellator an MMA fixture for our fans in the UK.”

Tito Ortiz and Stephan Bonnar’s main event fight is unquestionably the organization’s most anticipated fight of the year. Michael Chandler’s rematch with interim lightweight champ Will Brooks is going to be a must-see grudge match. King Mo seeks to earn his way back to the top, facing Tom DeBlass’s replacement Joe Vedepo in a light heavyweight showdown. Kickboxers Melvin Manhoef and Joe Schilling square off in what will be an exciting showcase of Glory kickboxing talent in the MMA arena. In the bantamweight division, Mike “The Marine” Richman faces UFC veteran Nam Phan.

Catch Bellator 131 on Spike TV on November 15th at 9:00 p.m. For fans in the UK, catch Bellator 131 on Sunday, November 16 at 9pm on Viacom’s 5*.
