Monday Night Raw kicked off with a bang last night when Vince McMahon made a triumphant return to WWE stage. He utilized his classic and patented power walk alongside his daughter Stephanie McMahon Helmsley and her husband Triple H. Once in the ring he addressed the main event of Survivor Series and emphasized that the outcome of the match will alter the future of the WWE in a major way.

The main event contest will pit Team Cena against Team Authority. At first the bout was seemingly over bragging rights and to settle scores between Seth Rollins and members and potential members of Team Cena. That all changed last night when Vince McMahon stated that the winner of the match will have full charge of the WWE like the Authority currently holds. Meaning, if the Authority wins then the tyranny will continue, but if not, Team Cena can start churning the winds of change. Will the Authority remain steadfast in their current position or will Team Cena provide no chance in hell for the Authority to win?

The current Team Authority consisted of Kane, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins and Randy Orton until events transpired last night that saw Orton turn against The Authority in attacks on the team, mainly Rollins. After his attack, he was brutally beat to a pulp in a series of events that was reported earlier to write Orton off of TV. The Authority now has Kane and Rollins and has extended invitations to Rusev and Mark Henry.

Team Cena is made up of John Cena and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, who the Authority failed in swaying to join them last night. Big Show is currently in a feud with Mark Henry, so speculation is building that he will join the team. Also at the end of the show broadcast exclusively on the WWE Network, Rusev defeated Sheamus to win the WWE United States Title. This has now brought up speculation that Sheamus will be apart of Team Cena. The final slot would then more than likely go to the lunatic Dean Ambrose, which could possibly place Bray Wyatt on the Authority’s team. This would make for one incredible Survivor Series main event with the future of the company hanging in the balance.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
