A Collection of Jason Miller’s Tweets During His Standoff With OC Police

Retired mixed martial artist and former host of the MTV hit series Bully Beatdown Jason “Mayhem” Miller (28-9-1) is known for about as much as his nickname indicates. Especially in his latest run-in with the media and the law.

Miller was involved in a standoff with the police at his home in Orange County, California. A warrant was issued for his arrest following 3 felony counts and a $200,000 bail. Instead of surrendering to the law enforcers, Mayhem decided to tweet everything that was happening and add humor in some spots to the situation.

A situation that lasted roughly 4 hours. Here are the tweets and story told from the angle of the former TUF coach, Jason Miller and some commentary from yours truly.

He starts off harmless. A simple notification to his Twitter followers that lawmen have showed up at his residence.

Then things begin to escalate. Almost like a season finale of the show “Cops.”

Threats begin to come out if Miller stays in.

However like every man that has ever been taken into custody, Miller finds himself innocent.

Then Jason’s dog comes into play. A dog with his own Twitter I might add.

Now a foreign lady with a disorder is brought to attention. Still not Mayhem’s fault though.

Personal invite to all those who’d like to attend the standoff. Or if you ever wanted to know where Jason Miller resided.

A plea for protection is issued.

An explanation of why Miller didn’t show up in court. Actually two explanations.

Then a direct quote from the police.

A vague explanation of why they might be present. Then an insight of the opinions of the officers.

The reality sets in on Jason.

A bit of humble pie is served but still Mayhem believes the dramatics are too dramatic.

If you thought things couldn’t possible escalate more. You were wrong.

Miller criticizes American justice and levels with the “black man”

The LA Times picks up the story. Miller tweets them back comparing himself a well known former criminal.

Orange County Sheriff’s office tweets a message. However Miller only tweets the truth.

The truth and an invitation to a block party/standoff that is.

The cops take action on Miller’s house. Much to the dismay of Jason and his dog.

The last tweet is a declarative statement to the arresting officers.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
