While no main event competitors have been announced yet, UFC Fight Night 57 has added middleweight and heavyweight bouts to the card taking place on Nov. 22 at Erwin Center on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin. Middleweights Luke Barnatt and Roger Narvaez will face off, and Jared Rosholt will compete against Oleksiy Oliynyk in the heavyweight division.

Luke “Bigslow” Barnatt (8-1) was on an incredible 8-fight winning streak before Sean Strickland handed him a decision loss in Fight Night 41. He is a versatile fighter, taking a victory by KO and submission three times each. He was the first pick overall in TUF: Sonnen vs. Jones on Chael’s team. His debut in the UFC opened up with a bang, taking a second round submission victory over Andrew Craig and the fight of the night bonus. His opponent Roger “The Silverback” Narvaez has a record of (6-1), making his way through organizations like Extreme Combat Productions and Legacy Fighting Championship. His last fight was not the way you want to go out in your UFC debut. He lost by a second round knockout against Patrick Cummins, who outworked him against the cage and finished him off with ground and pound. If Barnatt is able to work him to the ground, it could spell submission doom for Narvaez for the second time in the UFC.

Jared “The Big Show” Rosholt (11-1) has had three unanswered victories in the UFC against Walt Harris, Daniel Omielanczuk, and Soa Palelei all to a judges’ decison in his favor. He can impress the judges over the course of three rounds and has won three times by KO and submission each in his career. The versatile heavyweight will put his best against Oleksiy “The Boas Constrictor” Oliynyk (49-9-1). When you hear a name like Oliynk, you’re probably thinking Sambo right? He’s also a fourth degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that’s racked him up an astounding 40 victories by submission. If Rosholt doesn’t prepare a strong takedown and submission defense, “the Boa Constrictor” is bound to take another victim.
