Sting Reveals Who He’d Wrestle; Batista May Not Return to WWE; Dean Ambrose has Rumored Return Date

WWE and WCW Legend, Sting recently sat down with Orlando Sentinel’s Brian Fritz and spoke on who he’d like to face at Wrestlemania if The Undertaker is not an option.

“I do believe I have enough left in my tank for one more match and I would love for that match to be against Taker. If that can’t happen, Triple H, I think. I just would like to have one more match. I would love to say I had one match under the WWE banner and, of course, WrestleMania. Who wouldn’t want to say that they wrestled at WrestleMania at least one time?”

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and the last man to win the coveted Royal Rumble is rumored to be distancing himself more than what was originally planned from wrestling.

Batista had major success in playing Drax The Destroyer in Marvel’s latest box office smash hit “Guardians of the Galaxy” and Hollywood big-wigs are seeing his performance in that particular movie as a major stepping stone for the former full time professional wrestler.

The idea is if he went back to wrestle full time then he would jeopardize his acting career and risk losing all he’s worked for in that field based on succumbing to an injury in the ring.

Dean Ambrose has just started to dabble in acting and has recently been written off televised WWE events after his most recent adversary, Seth Rollins utilized his patented “Curb Stomp” finishing maneuver on the face of Dean into a pile of cinder blocks.

These events took place so that Ambrose could begin filming scenes on a WWE Studios movie under the working name of “Lockdown”

The film is scheduled to shoot all the way until September 20th so it is more than likely that the “lunatice fringe” Dean Ambrose won’t return before that period of time.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
