Many changes have been made to the Titan FC 29 fight card which will play on CBS Sports this Friday night but one thing has remained constant.

Titan will maintain their #FansFighterFirst commitment and deliver some of the best prospects on a major stage as they all inch back or toward making it into the UFC’s famed octagon.

One such fighter is Mike Bruno (11-6) who is overjoyed and ready to seize his moment.

“Everything training wise is going great, I’m strong, I’m excited and every morning that I wake up I’m super stoked for this fight. Being on CBS Sports, the name and the fighters on the card, I know this is a huge opportunity and I’m very lucky.”

Mike will be pitted against D’juan Owens (10-7) and Bruno recognizes the affair will not be an easy task but plans to end it as fast as possible.

“He’s really tough, it’s going to be a dog fight, he’s got a ton of experience so it will not be a walk in the park. I see my winning the fight, dictating the pace and controlling every round. I want a TKO finish, no submission or decision, I want to take him out with strikes that’s for damn sure. I’ve had a lot of finishes in the first round (6) so it wouldn’t surprise me if I got it done in the first. I’ll be looking to finish as long as the fight goes. I’ll be throwing but throwing smart. Keeping an eye out for the finish.”

Mike has his blinders on Owens and if he can make it past him, he is ready to take on the rest of what the Titan lightweight class has to offer.

“I’m going to scope out who all is in Titan but I’m focused on him (D’juan) then I’ll be ready to fight whoever they want to match me up with.”

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
