Long time WWE and WCW veteran “Sting” has announced or has been announced his next in-ring debut.

Virtually.

The wrestling legend will appear on October 28th as an official character in WWE 2k15 the critically acclaimed video game.

Last week a casting photo/video shoot for Sting was unveiled online which lead many to believe his on-screen tv debut would come shortly after.

This however is not the case.

Sting will serve as this year’s playable bonus character like many big name stars like Mike Tyson, The Ultimate Warrior and “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar have been played as in the past.

WWE comic relief champion, Santino Marella is contemplating coming out of the confines of retirement and gave subtle hints in a recent conversation with Chill Magazine.

The former IC Champion talked about the issues with his neck;

“There’s multiple things wrong with my neck. I had some success with that, but the stenosis has increased to the point where it has to be fixed. I’m not cleared for physical contact due to the severity of my stenosis, but apparently with a double fusion you actually can return to the ring with four to six months of recovery time.”

He then went on to tease a comeback;

“I’m looking forward to getting my surgery within a month and then I will have a four- to six-month recovery in which I will actually attempt to come back in the ring and wrestle again and make one of the greatest, most memorable comebacks of all time. It will be a long comeback, plus I’m going to be 41 years old. I’m just hoping the surgery and the rehab goes perfect and you’ll see me back in the ring sooner than later. SummerSlam is a few months after Wrestlemania, and for us it’s kind of like the halfway point of the season because it’s the second biggest event of the year. I won’t be there. I’m taking care of the neck. But I’ll be there next year.”

Then he shared his aspirations for becoming the number 1 in the WWE;

“I want to come back because of some unfinished business. I believe being the Milan Miracle I have one miracle left. There’s one belt that I haven’t captured—the WWE Championship—and it’s going to require that miracle to do it. On the right day at the right time I can definitely experience capturing that championship. There’s still some good wrestling left in this guy, so that’s what we’re going to try to do.”

After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
