Since the story broke yesterday regarding Christy Mack’s alleged beating by the now infamous MMA Fighter, Jon “Warmachine” Koppenhaver, a twitter exchange has ensued between the very well known Reality TV Bounty Hunter known as “Dog” or Duane “Dog” Chapman.

Mr. Chapman released a statement on twitter directed at the alleged perpetrator indicating he is going to “come after” him if he doesn’t turn himself in in 24 hours.

In 1976, Chapman himself was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to five years in a Texas prison. He had been waiting in a car when his friend shot and killed a drug dealer during a deal to buy cannabis. Chapman served 18 months at Texas State Penitentiary in Huntsville, TX.

During his incarceration, Chapman did field work and acted as the warden’s barber. It was while serving his sentence that he was inspired by a prison guard to become a bounty hunter after he had tackled an inmate about to be shot for attempting to escape. Due to his felony conviction, Chapman is not allowed to own a firearm and has also been barred from entering the UK, however it is doubtful either of these restrictions would impede his ability to pursue and capture Mr. Koppenhaver.

Since his statement was released to twitter no reply has been seen or heard from the MMA fugitive prompting yet another tweet from the venerable Bounty Hunter!
