Titan Fighting Championships boasts a well versed and competitive welterweight division and in the main event of Titan FC 29 the 170 lb strap will be decided between famed names, Matt Riddle and Ben Saunders.

But dangerous contenders wait in the wings for their shot.

One of these hungry wolves is Mike Bronzolouis (15-7-1).

Mike will face Keith Johnson (13-3) at TFC 29 and the winner will most definitely establish himself as a top 5 combatant in the Titan welterweight division.

Bronzolouis has gone back to his roots in preperation.

“Training is going great, I’m trying to fight smart and not get injured, it’s awesome to fight for Titan and I can’t wait. I am back with my original head coach and trainer, Sal Salise. When I was with him I finished all my fights first or second round and now I’m back with him and to me he’s one of the best trainers in the world.”

Mike competed on the Spike TV reality show “Fight Master” and made it all the way to the finals but lost to renown MMA veteran who recently was signed back to the UFC, Joe “Diesel” Riggs.

“I learned a lot about myself, physical, mental and spiritual toughness. Fighting with guys on there you kind of build bonds with, if I could go back I’d obviously like to win it. I was able to showcase a lot of things on the show and I got to prove to people that they shouldn’t count me out. Overall it was a great experience. I’d very much like a rematch with Joe Riggs, my heart is broken. In that match I had herniated discs in my neck and back and i couldn’t do much ground work. My conditioning wasn’t there and one of my specialties is my ability to get back up to my feet quickly. I know in my heart that if I had a rematch with him then I’d knock him out. I was dumb to take the fight with the injuries I had but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I believe in fate and the fight went the way it was supposed to go and now here I am with another fight.”

Mike feels he has a distinct advantage over his opponent, Keith and already has plans to rule the division with an iron fist.

“I definitely think I have the experience factor, I’ve checked his record and he’s fought nobody up to the caliber of me. This will be a big test for him, but i’m going to knock him out in the first round. My whole plan going into this fight is to be in the best shape of my life. I’m going to fold this guy (Keith) in half and make this crowd stand to its’ feet like they just watched a horror movie. Then I’ll go on from there and be the next Titan FC Champion.”

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
