Legacy FC 33 Results; Eli Tamez Remains Undefeated With Unanimous Decision Win Over Kory Vialet


135lb Bantamweight Bout; Eli Tamez (7-0) vs Kory Vialet (5-1)

Round 1:  Kory lands a quick 1-2 but is taken down shortly after and Tamez starts to got to work from the guard and secures side mount and lands elbows on the throat then he takes Vialet’s back and works for the rear naked choke for 3 solid minutes, and he completely neutralizes Kory’s offense. Eli goes for an armbar with 10 tics left but is unable to tap Kory out.

Round 2: Eli lands a left but Kory is the more comfortable fighter standing, Tamez presses Kory against the cage nd takes him down. Eli hops into guard quickly and lands short shots on Vialet and continues this pattern of ground and pound for the remainder of round 2.

Round 3: Eli lands a knee but takes a leg kick, Kory lands a left in this obvious striker vs ground guy bout, Vialet lands another left to the head then one to the body but Tamez takes Kory down again. Eli gets into side mount and lands body knees, 1 and 2 at a time, Eli got crucifix for a quick second but keeps his top position much like the other rounds and rides out the end of the fight.

Official Decision: Eli Tamez def. Kory Vialet via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
