UFC fighter Stefan Struve was rushed to the hospital after he suffered a near-fainting spell and panic attack before his scheduled UFC 175 fight against Matt Mitrione.
UFC President Dana White said on the show that Struve nearly fainted and was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
Struve was looking to return after his terrible knockout loss to Mark Hunt in March of 2013, when Hunt broke Struve’s jaw.
Struve was also dealt a setback when doctors diagnosed him with a bicuspid aortic valve. Struve returned to a full training schedule in November of last year.
