The crowd at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada was treated to some exciting prelims.

The night kicked off on UFC Fight Pass as TUF: Jones vs Sonnen alumni Kevin Casey (9-3) elbowed his way to victory against Bubba Bush (8-3) at 1:10 of the very first round.  Then to end the UFC Fight Pass fights, another TUF alumnus picked up a victory as Luke Zachrich (14-3) from season 7 earned the unanimous decision (30-27 x2, 29-28) against Guilherme Vasconcelos (3-2).

Then the card shifted to Fox Sports 1.  To start things off, 5:1 underdog  and Mark DellaGrotte fighter, Rob Font (11-1) KO’ed George Roop (15-11) at 2:19 of the very first round.  Next, Bruno Santos (13-1) held down Chris Camozzi (19-7) to a split decision win (29-28 x2, 28-29).  In the third fight of the night, Kenny Robertson (13-3) dominated Ildemar Alcântara (20-6) all three rounds to earn the unanimous decision win (30-26 x3).  Finally, “The California Kid” Urijah Faber (30-7) remained undefeated in non-title fights as he submits “Bruce Leeroy” Alex Caceres (10-5) at 1:09 of the 3rd round to end the prelims.

Daniel Dees
Daniel was born in New Orleans and raised in the Hammond area of Louisiana. He comes off as the most average guy you’ll ever meet, but underneath his unassuming exterior you’ll find a fight hooligan with a deep passion for MMA. Daniel loves a good technical striking match, or a brawl filled with haymakers. His experience with Brazilian Jiujitsu has also given him a deep appreciation for the grappling chess match. When he's not watching fights, he's talking about fights, and if he's not talking, he's thinking about fights. Whether it’s making predictions, fantasy match-making, or ranting, he has fighting on his brain 24/7 365. As Daniel says, "To me, there’s not a better sport on the planet! (Sorry, Football, but you don’t have liver shots, heel hooks, or Miesha Tate)"
