EA Sports UFC Demo Released on PS4, XBOX 360

MMA fans are two weeks away from the release of EA Sports UFC, Zuffa’s first collaboration with video game giant Electronic Arts. Those who can’t wait until it’s official street date can download a recently release demo on the XBOX 360 and Playstation 4 platforms.

About 100 UFC fighters made it to EA Sports UFC, though Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson are the demo’s only playable characters. Over 11 million voters chose Jones and Gustafsson to grace the game’s cover following their memorable battle at UFC 165. A rematch is expected in August.

Action is limited to three rounds and difficulty levels can’t be changed, but it’s a small price to pay in testing the first UFC game in over two years. Vivid submission an takedown attempts highlight the demo even if there are a few bugs that need to be worked out.

EA Sports UFC hits stores June 17th. Placing a pre-order unlocks MMA pioneers Bruce Lee and Royce Gracie.
