Bellator 120 will be a groundbreaking PPV and an inaugural event for the promotion of Bellator, the conclusion of the Light Heavyweight tournament featuring the culmination of the heated rivalry between King Mo (12-3-1) and Rampage (34-11), in Quinton’s home town of Memphis, Tennessee.

The event will also showcase the return of UFC legend, Tito Ortiz (16-11-1) as he fights through “The Storm” and Bellator Middleweight Champion Alexander Shlemenko (50-7).

Michael Chandler (12-1) will fight late replacement Will Brooks (13-1) for the Interim Lightweight title and Blagoy Ivanov (11-0) will share the cage with Alexander Volkov (21-4) with the Season 10 Heavyweight Tournament championship and a $100,000 check in the balance.

But to open the PPV portion of the event, undefeated welterweight Michael Page (5-0) will take on “The Sniper” Rickey Rainey (8-2).

Ricky Rainey v.s. Michael Page

Round 1: Page comes out unorthodox and has his hands down but shows off superior speed bouncing in and out of Rainey’s range and lands at will. Michael is absolutely tooling Ricky and playing to the crowd in the process. Michael leads with a jab and lands a left high kick, then does a dance in the cage which the audience doesn’t seem to like. Rainey goes for a takedown but Page ends up on top then the fighters both return to their feet and Rainey is pressured against the cage then Page lands a spinning back fist. Michael slips Ricky’s punches then knocks him out cold with a right hand over the top. Then some more dancing for the crowd in an easy win.

Official Decision: Michael Page defeats Ricky Rainey via KO at 4:29 of Round 1.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
