Baby brother to UFC welterweight staple Jake Ellenberger, lightweight Joe Ellenberger (14-1) will make his long awaited UFC debut at Ultimate Fight Night 44 against the undefeated Francisco Trevino (12-0). Trevino  is looking to have a successful encore to his UFC debut after earning a unanimous decision nod over Renee Forte at UFC 171.

UFN 45 in Atlantic City has added its’ main event and who better to compete in it than New Jersey’s MMA son?

The 9th ranked lightweight Jim Miller (24-4-1) has reeled off 2 straight submission victories in the opening round against Fabricio Camoes at UFC 168 via armbar and at UFC 172 this past weekend he made like the dark ages and utilized the gulliotine to his advantage to put away Yancy Medeiros.

Now the City Slicker takes on the Cowboy.

7th ranked Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone (23-6-1) is on a 3 fight streak of stoppages, a triangle choke in the second to take out Evan Dunham at UFC 167, a kick to the cranium put down Adriano Martins in the first round at UFC on Fox 10 and he survived the onslaught of Edson Barboza to rear naked choke him in the first round of their recent UFC on Fox 11 tilt.

With 14 bonus checks between the two, it’s almost a guarantee the pair will steal the stage in Atlantic City.

UFC 174 in Vancouver just added a  Light Heavyweight match-up that could catapult the winner into the top 10.

Ryan Jimmo (19-3) will take to the cage against Ovince St. Preaux (15-5).

Jimmo is fresh off a noggin knocking knockout over Sean O’Connell at TUFN in round 1, while Ovince has reeled off 3 straight victories since coming to the UFC from Strikeforce. He squeaked one out over Gian Villante in his debut by majority decision at UFC 159, then knocked out Cody Donovan in 2 minutes at UFN 26 and finally he utilized a rare “Von Flue” choke to Nikita Krylov in 90 seconds at UFC 171.

Finally TUF 19 has made an addition to its’ card, Kevin Lee (7-1) will look to rebound from his debut and only loss of his career against Al Iaquinta when he meets Jesse Ronson (13-4) who was on an 8 fight winning streak before his entrance into the UFC. Ronson has lost back to back split decisions to Michael Prezeres at UFC 165 and Francisco Trinaldo at UFN 36.
