UFC Fight Night 39 goes down this Friday morning, but before then, the fighters will weigh in Thursday at 8 AM ET/5 AM PT. Headlining the card is a heavyweight bout between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Roy Nelson.

Nogueira is looking to rebound from a June 2013 submission loss to Fabricio Werdum. Prior to the loss, Nogueira had flip flopped between victories and defeats. The PRIDE FC legened had defeated the likes of Dave Herman, Brendan Schaub, and Randy Couture, while losing twice to Frank Mir and once to Cain Velasquez.

Nelson is also looking to rebound from a rough patch of his own. Big Country is currently riding a two fight losing streak, dropping decisions to Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic. Nelson’s last victory came in April of 2013 where he knocked out Cheick Kongo. The winner of this bout will cement their status as a top 10 heavyweight and could be knocking on the door of a title shot due to the current lack of challengers in the heavyweight division. Also on the main card are featherweights Clay Guida and Tatsuya Kawajiri, welterweights John Howard and Ryan Laflare, and lightweights Beneil Dariush and Ramsey Nijem. Check below for our live weigh-in results.

Daniel Reveles
Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, Daniel Reveles' interest in Mixed Martial Arts began at the age of fourteen while attending a Fantasy Football draft at a Friend's house. That day Daniel's buddies ordered UFC 88 on Pay-Per-View featuring lauded striker and hometown hero Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell squaring off with Division One Wrestler “Suga” Rashad Evans. After seeing “the wrestler” Rashad Evans put the Ice Man out cold with an overhand right, Daniel became instantly hooked by the unpredictability of the sport. Since that moment Daniel has become well versed in Mixed Martial Arts History and has yet to miss an event. Daniel is currently studying at the University of California Santa Barbara to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Communications with hopes of becoming the next big media mogul. When he is not watching MMA or studying you can find Daniel hanging out with his family and friends or taking in a game at the lovely Dodger Stadium.
