Just 2 days before the next Bellator show and a card shuffling has occured.

Middleweight Semifinal match-up Dan Cramer (10-4) going against Jeremy Kimball (10-4) has been scrapped from the event. After Kimball couldn’t fight due to missing weight last Friday, Cramer turned down two other match-ups and therefore has been dropped from the card and the middleweight tournament.

In their place will be an alternate Middleweight Tournament Semi-Final bout pitting Joe Pacheco (7-1) against Brandon Halsey (5-0).

“The Juggernaut” Joe Pacheco will look to rebound from last season’s Middleweight Tournament semi-final loss and the only blemish on Joe’s resume to eventual winner Brennan Ward at Bellator 102.

From the beginning of Halsey’s professional career he’s faced adversity, after winning his debut he was thrown into the cage against veteran of 80 mma bouts, Shonie Carter. After Brandon dispatched of Carter he took his talents to Bellator and since has won 3 straight fights under the banner. He defeated Rocky Ramirez in his promotional debut at Bellator 92 with an arm triangle choke. He then defeated Joe Yagar at Bellator 96 by decison then blasted Hector Ramirez by tko in just 50 seconds at Bellator 106.

Can Halsey keep his undefeated record and his young momentum rolling or will the “Juggernaut” roll him over and advance into the promotions middleweight finals?

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
