The long awaited official release date for the upcoming EA Sports UFC game is here. June 19th, fans will finally be able to get their hands on the full game after months of teasers and trickling fighter reveals.

With the release date came the identity of their mystery fighter which was revealed piece-by-piece for the past few days until finally his identity was made clear. That mystery fighter is martial arts legend Bruce Lee, who has been stunningly recreated on the next generation consoles. He is available upon a preorder of the game or after completion of the game’s career mode.

A new trailer was also released which shows the most amount of gameplay for any trailer to date, although they are still cinematic shots.

Lee’s daughter Shannon also gave her thoughts on her father’s appearance in the game:

“I am so excited about this opportunity to bring my father back to videogames!” said Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee’s daughter, CEO of Bruce Lee, LLC and Chairperson of the Bruce Lee Foundation. “I’m thrilled that fans can now interact with him in a new way. The EA SPORTS UFC development team has been incredible to work with, and they’ve done a great job capturing the look and feel of my father. I think people will love getting a chance to fulfill a fight fantasy by playing Bruce Lee in the new UFC game.”

There is still no word on whether Lee will be the only unlockable fighter in the game but it is a great start. He will be available in four different weight classes.
