Titan Fighting Championship makes another move, this time signing Walt “The Big Ticket” Harris (5-3).

The bulky  6-foot-4, 240lbs. Harris is coming off back-to-back UFC fights and has 5 wins all coming by way of knockout in his career.

“Walt Harris is a machine, I’ve witnessed him train in person and he has all the physical gifts anyone can hope for. He’s athletic, fast and powerful, if he can put it all together he can be a top 10 heavyweight in no time. He’s a freak!” says Jeff Aronson on the signing of LHarris.

Immediately after being signed Walt given his first opponent.

Harris will take on D.J.”Da Protege” Linderman (15-7) at Titan FC 29.

Linderman was originally scheduled to meet Dave Herman at Titan FC 28 but with the withdrawal of Vinny Magaelhaes from the main event, some fighters had to be shuffled around.

Linderman will also be making his debut for the organization and both will be competing over which massive heavyweight can make a bigger splash in the division.

D.J.  has competed in Bellator, WSOF and Legacy, and will look to utilize his experience over Walt to combat his 2 inch height disadvantage.

Highly passionate MMA Journalist, and I've followed the sport ever since my favorite fighter, Vitor Belfort won the heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. After that I've tried to go to every local MMA event around the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas and decided to make it a point to have a career in some aspect in the fighting sport other than fighting in general (didn't want to ruin my face). I'm currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University working towards a degree in Communication. I cover MMA, Boxing and Football for The Daily Star newspaper in my hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, in addition to working as a promotional writer for a local Boxing promotion known as BoxnCar and I cover boxing for 8countnews.com however SciFighting.com is my home. My main goal is to bring more publicity to MMA in my area and to the sport as a whole as all of us involved with the sport are merely scratching the surface and laying the foundation of what mixed martial arts competition will be further down the road.
