Fresh off of his title defense and first round dismantling of Team Alpha Male’s California Kid, Uriah Faber, Renan Barao now has a new foe, from the same camp.

His next adversary comes in the form of TUF 14 runner up, T.J. Dillashaw (9-2).

Dillashaw is 5-1 since his TUF Finale loss to John Dodson and is recently coming off a unanimous decision victory over Mike Easton at UFC Fight Night 35.

Faber is 0-3 in such contests with a defeat coming from Dominick Cruz by unanimous decision and 2 losses to the current champion, Barao.

Joseph Benavidez has dropped 2 straight flyweight title matches to Demetrious Johnson, one by unanimous decision, the more recent coming by KO in the first round that headlined UFC on Fox 9.

Chad “Money” Mendes recieved a knee to the face as well as the only loss of his career in the Feather Weight title match against Jose Aldo at UFC 142.

However Renan has all the intentions of making the california based camp go 0 for its last 8, in the wake of parting ways with their heralded coach, Duane “Bang” Ludwig.

After losing his first professional fight, Winning his next 31 fights including wining the bantamweight gold and defending it three times.
