Just days before the WSOF 9 show in Las Vegas Nevada, The World Series of Fighting has announced that they will begin broadcasting their events live via NBCSports.com, to international viewers. The news was announced via press release from the World Series of fighting.
Fans in the United States can watch the WSOF card on NBC Sports Network with international viewers who may not have had access to these events, finding a place to enjoy the entire fight card for each event, from here on out.
American fans will also have access to the online stream, making it easier to access the fights.
This move will help raise the WSOF’s stock as the UFC and Bellator have had long running online preliminary streams, except for the WSOF, the main card will also be included.
This means that the reach over the NBC Sports Network has expanded tremendously and the opportunities that fans of the promotion now have are limitless, whether it be on their TV, mobile device, or tablet.
The event will also stream live in the U.S. through “TV Everywhere” on NBC Sports Live Extra, the NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for the web, mobile devices and tablets.
“This is huge news for us, as well as for our fans in the U.S. as well all around the world,” World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo said. “I am constantly receiving emails and tweets from fans who are eager to be able to watch our fights, and I’m so proud to finally offer them this opportunity. It’s been my mission since day one to have these amazing fights playing in homes all around the world, and this is a massive step in that direction!”
World Series of Fighting 9 takes place from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Saturday, March 29 on NBC Sports Network, and now, online.
