Most people thought Shogun was on his way into victory and that “old age” was catching up to Dan Henderson. And then this happened, silencing the naysayers. After a night of Mauricio looking sharp, Henderson fired off a clinch disengagement, landing a right hook that punches through the nose of Shogun.

This was after Henderson barely survived throughout the earlier rounds. As Henderson turns off the clinch, he established a dominant angle and attacked Shogun when he was not in stance. The result was devastating — scoring an upset on the Brazilian favorite in his home country.

It was one hell of a fight — one that didn’t disappoint as a follow up to their legendary first match. However, this one didn’t turn out so pretty for the former model.
