A middleweight clash between one of the division’s rising stars and a long time veteran takes place at UFC Fight Night 38. TUF Brazil 1 winner Cezar Ferreira will take on CB Dollaway in a bout that is sure to be a great one. Take a look below for play by play and result for the bout between Ferreira and Dollaway.

Middleweight Bout: Cezar Ferreira (7-2) vs. CB Dollaway (13-5)

Round 1: Ferreira takes the center of the Octagon quickly. Big left straight from Ferreira. Left hand from Dollaway backs his opponent up. Ferreira throws big punches that miss, Dollaway leans back and uncorks a huge right that puts Ferreira down! A few more punches on the ground end it. Impressive finish for Dollaway.

Official Decision: CB Dollaway def. Cezar Ferreira via TKO (punches) at 0:39 of round 1.

That day Daniel's buddies ordered UFC 88 on Pay-Per-View featuring lauded striker and hometown hero Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell squaring off with Division One Wrestler “Suga” Rashad Evans. After seeing “the wrestler” Rashad Evans put the Ice Man out cold with an overhand right, Daniel became instantly hooked by the unpredictability of the sport. Since that moment Daniel has become well versed in Mixed Martial Arts History and has yet to miss an event. Daniel is currently studying at the University of California Santa Barbara to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Communications with hopes of becoming the next big media mogul. When he is not watching MMA or studying you can find Daniel hanging out with his family and friends or taking in a game at the lovely Dodger Stadium.
