An important featherweight bout takes place at UFC Fight Night 38 between Rony Jason and Steven Siler. Both men were thought to be top tier prospects in their division before losses in each of their last bouts sent them tumbling down the featherweight ladder. Take a look below to see who came out on top between Jason and Siler.

This is a live post and will update as results become available.

Featherweight Bout: Rony Jason (13-4) vs. Steven Siler (23-11)

Round 1: The fighters touch gloves to kick off the main card. Siler takes the center of the Octagon so start the bout. Leg kicks from Siler to start the bout. Tentative first few moments from each man. As soon as I type that a huge right hand from Jason rocks Siler and he goes down! The referee stops the bout. That was a bit early in my opinion. Siler was using his legs to defend before the ref stopped the bout. Jason wasn’t close to landing any strikes after he dropped Siler. Unfortunate ending.

Official Result: Rony Jason def. Steven Siler via TKO (punches) at 1:17 of round 1.

Daniel Reveles
Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, Daniel Reveles' interest in Mixed Martial Arts began at the age of fourteen while attending a Fantasy Football draft at a Friend's house. That day Daniel's buddies ordered UFC 88 on Pay-Per-View featuring lauded striker and hometown hero Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell squaring off with Division One Wrestler “Suga” Rashad Evans. After seeing “the wrestler” Rashad Evans put the Ice Man out cold with an overhand right, Daniel became instantly hooked by the unpredictability of the sport. Since that moment Daniel has become well versed in Mixed Martial Arts History and has yet to miss an event. Daniel is currently studying at the University of California Santa Barbara to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Communications with hopes of becoming the next big media mogul. When he is not watching MMA or studying you can find Daniel hanging out with his family and friends or taking in a game at the lovely Dodger Stadium.
