The recovery of Anderson Silva has been covered during every little step he has taken.

Since his gruesome injury against Chris Weidman in the main event of UFC 168, Silva has defied the odds of the doctors by undergoing physical therapy early, and subsequently lifting light weights, hitting pads in the gym, and even doing some light grappling work.

While a very tentative late-2014 return has been rumored, Silva hasn’t slowed his recovery process. His latest feat shows him throwing kicks at a yoga ball to drill the movement that caused the injury in the first place.

Here is the first video of Silva throwing kicks since the injury, courtesy of his official Instagram.
