World Series of Fighting 9: Carl vs. Palhares Card Finalized

The World Series of Fighting has completed their preliminary card for their 9th event. This event will feature the first title defense in promotional history as WSOF Welterweight champion Steve Carl will battle UFC veteran Rousimar Palhares.

A bantamweight bout will determine that divisions first champion. Marlon Moraes will look to continue his unbeaten WSOF record against Josh Rettinghouse.

Former number one welterweight contender Josh Burkman take son Tyler Stinson to take a step in the right direction, towards another title shot.

The card takes place on March 29th and will air on NBC Sports from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada

WSOF President Ray Sefo spoke on his promotion returning to the fight capitol of the world, “with us returning to our home base for this amazing event, it made sense for us to feature some of the city’s best talent, and I think we’ve put together a preliminary card that is going to deliver an entertaining evening ahead of our spectacular NBCSN-broadcast main-card lineup.”
