UFC Fight Night 36 Results: Erick Silva Smashes Takenori Saito In a Minute

Halfway through the UFC Fight Night 36 main card, another welterweight bout between top-propsect Erick Silva and promotional newcomer Takenori Sato.

Sato hasn’t lost in almost four years and since, has brought a near .500 record of 9-8-5 to 17-8-7.

HIs opponent, Silva, is returning from a shocking knockout loss to Dong-Hyun Kim and would try to work his way back up and become the potential title challenger that he entered the UFC as, by the end of 2014.

Round 1: Silva lands a kick to the body that hurts Sato. Sato shoots for a single leg takedown but gets his head smashed in by punches. Silva lands one last hammerfist that puts Sato out cold.

After seeing “the wrestler” Rashad Evans put the Ice Man out cold with an overhand right, Daniel became instantly hooked by the unpredictability of the sport. Since that moment Daniel has become well versed in Mixed Martial Arts History and has yet to miss an event. Daniel is currently studying at the University of California Santa Barbara to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Communications with hopes of becoming the next big media mogul.
