Ronda Rousey (8-0) makes a quick turnaround after a UFC 168 victory over Miesha Tate. She will fight again in just a few weeks in the main event of UFC 170. Her opponent is fellow Olympian and undefeated fighter Sara McMann (7-0). McMann hasn’t fought since her UFC debut last April when she scored a TKO over Sheila Gaff at UFC 159.
The co-main event is a highly anticipated light heavyweight bout that will answer a lot of questions.
A dominant TKO over three-time title challenger Chael Sonnen built upon Rashad Evans’ (21-3-1) momentum following a decision win over Dan Henderson prior to that. The former UFC light heavyweight champion will take on Daniel Cormier, the man thought to be the most legitimate challenge to Jon Jones’ belt.
Cormier (13-0) will be making his debut in the division as he drops down from a division that is controlled by sparring partner and good friend Cain Velasquez.
