Taking place last Saturday, Febraury 1st, UFC 169 had two title bouts in which each champion defended their respective belts.

The first was a featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and Ricardo Lamas. Aldo defeated Lamas via unanimous decision although Lamas never faltered in his approach.

The main event was a bantamweight bout between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao. The fight was stopped after Barao dismantled Faber on the feet with a counter and an ensuing flurry.
