The UFC has made official the airing of the upcoming The Ultimate Fighter Brasil: Team Wanderlei vs. Team
Sonnen will air on Fight Pass.

Since it’s birth (at least the beta version) the UFC Fight Pass has met criticism from subscribers for a myriad of reasons including a flawed security system, lackluster launch library, and a limited need to watch free-tv cards at obscure times.
For TUF Brasil 3, they hope to change that. TUF Brasil 3 will air on Brazilian television and the replay of each episode will be uploaded to Fight Pass shortly after.

Filming is underway in Sao Paulo. A UFC Fight Pass Original, Six Weeks with Sonnen has also been announced and it will air on the Fight Pass as well.

“I don’t quite know what to make of it down here,” Sonnen stated in a press release. “Wanderlei has already been an experience, to say the least. He’s like a cartoon character, he gets angry and runs out of words and steam starts to come out of his ears. He’s a caveman. But I feel sorry for him so I’m helping him get to where he wants to go – retirement.”
Silva also had some words for Sonnen as they have for the past three years now, “Sonnen messed with the wrong guy. Now his time has come. He’s fearful, afraid of me. For everything he said – now he has a payback. I’m here because of Brazil and the Brazilian fans. I’m going to give them what they want – the most exciting season of TUF ever.”

The previous Brazilian incarnations of TUF aired on FUEL TV via tape-delay but Fight Pass subscribers will now have the option to watch or re-watch each episode.

UFC Chief Content Officer Marshall Zelaznik had this to say about the inclusion of Fight Pass in airing a TUF season, “We’re excited to confirm that UFC Fight Pass subscribers won’t miss any of the action from what is certain to be a crazy season of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil. Subscribers will be able to catch each installment on demand, within hours of the show airing on television in Brazil.”

The next live event to air on Fight Pass comes to fans on March 1st as the finale of TUF China, headlined by Dong Hyun Kim vs. John Hathaway takes place.

Fight Pass is $9.99 a month with the free trial ending on February 28th.

Chael Sonnen was featured in a video released by the UFC as he previewed the upcoming season.
