UFC 169 is just a few days away. The card features two title fights in both the featherweight and bantamweight divisions including a heavyweight showdown that could dictate the careers of two legends of the sport.

UFC 169 takes place Saturday, February 1st from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Part 1: Stricken with yet another injury, UFC bantamweight Dominick Cruz relinquished his undisputed belt to longtime interim champ, Renan Barao. Barao has defended his belt twice sinking defeating Urijah Faber to be crowned interim champ back at UFC 149. Now, as Barao sits atop the division and a resurgent Faber hurtles towards him, they will rematch in the main event of UFC 169.

Part 2: Almost five years of dominance across two promotions has cemented Jose Aldo as the greatest featherweight of our time. Five defenses of his UFC title had pushed that moniker even further. He now faces what could be his toughest test to date in Ricardo Lamas. Undefeated in the UFC, Lamas has flown under the radar as he dispatches contenders to clear the path for his own title shot. He will now get that shot that has been taken from him several times before.

Part 3: Two former heavyweight champions fueled by the desire to break respective losing streaks collide in a heavyweight feature that is sure to deliver fireworks. Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir has not only lost consecutive fights for the first time in his career, but he has gone 0-3 starting with a title shot against then champion Junior dos Santos. Mir has stated that being cut by the UFC will mark the end of his career making a win a necessity. Overeem was the former Strikeforce heavyweight champion who finally joined the UFC as a heavy favorite to march straight to the title. Instead, after his successful debut over Brock Lesnar, Overeem has seen the wrong end of a finish twice in a row. Their backs against the wall, these two heavyweights will leave it all in the Octagon.
